This is my first post, so let me introduce gearcarrot.

I’m starting gearcarrot because I want to share my thoughts on gear with the rest of the world, not just the forums that I frequent. I plan to cover all manner of EDC (every day carry) gear, especially flashlights and knives, as well as other cool gadgets. This is about the stuff people carry daily to make their lives easier.

I will post news articles from time to time, but mainly the focus of this blog is to discuss things that I have firsthand experience with. I can’t afford to keep buying new things to discuss but I have quite a backlog of items that I’ve been meaning to write about.

And most importantly, next week I am flying out to Vegas to attend SHOT Show, which is the biggest trade show for EDCaholics like me. There will be plenty of news there! I can’t promise photos, as I will not have a press pass, but I will report what I can.
